How KBT is earned, where it is welcome, and the safeguards around it. KBT is a blockchain-recorded membership reward.
Current status KBT smart contracts run only on the Polygon Amoy testnet. Mainnet is not yet deployed; final token parameters will be published at mainnet launch.
What KBT is
KBT is the reward unit you see in your membership app. It recognizes eligible spend with our registered partners: clinics, hotels and beauty boutiques.
KBT is recorded with blockchain technology and is currently in testnet validation. It exists to make your stays in Korea simpler, not to be traded.
How KBT is credited
- KBT is credited after a partner confirms your payment, according to your membership tier.
- Only payments made with a method in your own name are recognized.
- It is never conditional on reviews, photos, social posts, referrals or return visits.
- If a booking is canceled, the related KBT is canceled with it.
Where to use KBT
KBT is applied when you pay, within the limit for each category. At partners, 1 KBT is applied as KRW 100 toward the eligible bill.

Tier criteria are being refined and will be published in the membership terms after legal review.
Technology
- Network: currently in validation on the Polygon Amoy testnet; mainnet is not deployed. Network fees on Polygon are paid in POL.
- Status: KBT smart contracts were deployed on the Polygon Amoy testnet in December 2025. Mainnet is not yet deployed.
- Code base: contracts are built on OpenZeppelin's widely used open-source libraries.
- Accounts: we plan to use account abstraction (smart accounts with sponsored network fees), so members never need to hold POL.
- Privacy: names, passport data, procedures, medical details and payment amounts are never written on-chain.
- Parameters: final token parameters and contract addresses will be published at mainnet launch.
Safeguards
- Under the membership terms, KBT will be valid for 24 months from the date it is credited, and expiry reminders are planned.
- Payments in the name of a third party are not recognized.
- Gift cards and vouchers cannot be bought with KBT.
- A monthly membership transparency report is planned from 2027 Q2.

Risk and legal notice
KBT is a membership reward that can be applied toward part of a partner bill. It is not an investment. It has no cash value and is not traded on any exchange. Selling KBT is not permitted under the membership terms, and we do not exchange KBT for cash or crypto-assets. No exchange listing, price or return is promised.
KBT is currently in testnet validation. Features, limits and parameters may change following legal review and before mainnet launch, and changes will be published in the membership terms.
KBT is not a discount on medical fees. Medical services are provided by registered partner institutions, and every treatment decision is made by the treating doctor. Results vary and side effects can occur.
